The Christmas wish tree is made up of the dreams and wishes of children in shelters and substitute homes, sent to Santa Clause. To make sure that these do not just remain dreams, pick a gift from the Christmas tree and make a donation to the best of your ability.

Follow-up training for shelter employees in Pärnu County

In November, the Ojako tourism farm in Pärnu County became the setting for a two-day training course in Estonian based on the Gordon Family School for employees from shelters. Staff who had completed the ‘Relationships around me and inside’ me training course for welfare institutions attended the event. Workers from the Tartu Children’s Safe House, the Family Help Centre in Pärnu, the Children’s Shelter of the Tallinn Children’s Home and the Tallinn Children’s Safe House took part in the training. During the two days a range of seminars were presented, everyday problems with children were solved and new ways of better preventing conflict and problematic situations were found.
