Sügisjooks motivated children to engage in sport


On the initiative of the non-profit association SEB Heategevusfond, this year's Tallinn Marathon and Sügisjooks – the sports event with the biggest number of participants in Estonia’s 100-year-history – included children from safe houses and substitute homes along with family parents. Small running enthusiasts put themselves to the test at Mesikäpa Children's Races, while older children ran 5 km and 10 km distances.

The football day motivated the children to do more sports


On the last Wednesday of August, another football day took place under the leadership of the non-profit association SEB Heategevusfond, where children in substitute homes and safe houses got to play football with footballers, and in the evening, witness the exciting match between FC Flora and FCI Levadia at A. Le Coq Arena.

Fiddler on the Roof – like an illustrated history class


Youths and foster parents from shelters and substitute homes all across Estonia went to see the musical Fiddler on the Roof, at the Estonian National Opera, a day before the Day of Restoration of Independence. Those who were interested also toured the backstage world of the theatre and many families got to enjoy a dim summer night in Tallinn.
